“What you doing? Where you at? Oh, you got plans? Don’t say that, I’m sippin’ wine. I look too good to be alone. My house clean, my pool warm. Just shaved smooth like a newborn. We should be dancing, romancing in the east wing and the west wing of this mansion. What’s happening? I ain’t playin’ no games. Every word that I say is coming straight from the heart. So if you tryna lay in these arms, I’ma leave the door open.” – lyrics

‘Leave the Door Open’ tells a romantic tale about a young guy who desires to spend some quality time with his significant other. Apparently, she’s desirable and extremely attractive. Therefore, he can’t wait to make passionate love to her. Later, he reveals that he wants to cuddle and kiss her while they relax comfortably inside warm rose-petal bathwater.

“Every word that I say is coming straight from the heart.”

‘Leave the Door Open’ contains a romantic narrative, ear-pleasing vocals, and harmony-driven melodies. The likable tune possesses vibrant instrumentation flavored with contemporary R&B and modern soul elements. Furthermore, “Leave the Door Open” serves as a tasty appetizer of what listeners can expect to hear on Silk Sonic’s upcoming debut album, entitled, “An Evening with Silk Sonic.”
